About Carl
Trust and Expertise in Every Connection
I grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, taking things apart and figuring out how they worked. As a kid, I’d pull bike parts from scrap piles, rebuild and paint them, then sell them. When new tech showed up—VCRs, microwaves—I’d read the manuals front to back and end up being the one everyone came to for help.
That mindset carried into my teenage years, helping a neighbor build a house from the ground up. It gave me a real understanding of how homes are put together—and I’ve been building on that ever since.
Over the past 30 years, my career was in IT, focused on supply chain automation—solving complex system problems and helping businesses run more smoothly. Over time, it became clear that the same approach works just as well at home.
Today, that experience comes together in McMillan Home Service. The focus is simple: install what’s needed, fix what’s not working, and make sure everything—devices, networks, fixtures, and more—works together the way it should.
